Did you know that high school students today have about the same anxiety levels as insane asylum mental patients during the 1950’s?
This is my friend Ryan Wood. He is the boy on the left sitting on the stairs.
Last April he was diagnosed with cancer, but it was quickly removed. Doctors were sure it wouldn’t return, but this September it reappeared and he began to get really sick. He’s only is 16 years old and was a healthy football player until this happened. A few days ago he was given a CAT scan and yesterday was told he has 2-4 weeks left to live. When doctors broke the news to him he was completely devastated and hopeless, but then a few of his close friends had the idea to get his story out on twitter. Ryan woke up this morning to hundreds of tweets and follows with #PrayForRyan attached and he started feeling like maybe there was a thread of hope to hold onto. They even got the basketball player Chris Paul to tweet about it. What we need you to help us do is to make this the best two weeks of his life and make him believe that it will not be his last. If you reblog this and spread the word I will be forever grateful and it would mean so much to me and especially him.
